The most common mistake that can be seen when comes to fitness is concentrating on a specific part. Most of the ladies make this mistake. They all will do hours and hours of body specific exercises.
This is the same case when come with belly fat. Common phenomena we that can be seen nowadays is, when a lady feels bad about her belly, she will try a lot of crunches to burn fat and to get a flat belly. Sad to say, you won’t get a flat belly even if you take several hundreds of crunches.
Belly specific exercises is not the solution for your belly. I will explain this with an example. If you want to cut a tree, you have to cut all the branches first and by using a rope support you will cut down the trees. You cannot cut the tree from the root without cutting the branches.
Here, cutting action is referred to as the flat belly making process and the branches are excess fats found throughout your body. Cutting is the target here but it is the last step in this process and your target flat belly should be the final destiny. You have to concentrate on total body workouts to lose your entire weight. You can try lots of intense exercises to achieve this.
Once you considerably lose your weight you can think about the belly. Belly specific exercises such as crunches are not really meant for burning belly fat. Actually, they are strengthening exercises. They won’t help you to gain weight. But doing lots of crunches at the beginning affects your back muscles and that can hinder your way to a flat belly, because a good healthy spine is needed to get a flat belly.
Instead of making a flat belly, crunches will affect your back muscle if it is not done without proper guidance. You should better concentrate on total body workouts than these types of belly specific exercises. Therefore, Crunches are not at all a choice for a flat belly.
